Nestled above Brisbane's busy Ann Street, Elixir offers a hidden tranquility, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the busy Fortitude Valley below. This exclusive rooftop sanctuary makes for a perfect setting to mingle with friends and family, celebrate special occasions or simply wind down after a busy day at work. Elixir's fresh wooden decor, lush plants and clean day bed style seating allows for a relaxed yet sophisticated environment.
A little on the expensive side, but Elixir was one of Brisbane's first rooftop bars, so you have to give it to them for beating the trend. The set up on the roof, though small, is well done, and it's a great place to unwind on a sunny afternoon. The drink selection is well curated and the cocktails creative and what else can you ask of a bar, really?
I love this place! It's beautifully decorated, quiet but trendy, has lovely big canopy seats to sit in, or really cool looking granite tables. It has a bit of a garden vibe and it's hard to believe you are right next to a main street while you are up there. One of my favourites, only issue is that it doesn't have an elevator, but I suppose it's not their fault that I am lazy.
