Epic Hair

Went in for fine highlights to just complete my already beautiful multi toned long hair and Epic hair dresser ruined my hair and charged me $250 for it. They Pushed me into only 4 foils and root dye then sneakily dyed my whole head at sink (I repeatedly said no toner or full head dye ) but she just did what she wanted and then lied about it. Never go there again.

Stay away! They just want to make as much money from you as possible. My poor mother-in-law went in the for the first time jlast week ust to get her roots done. She's got really short hair. She left the salon $260 poorer!! If you look at the price list, a color/wash/blowdry is estimated to cost around $135. The only thing she could put the extra cost down to was the treatment that was recommended without any information about the cost. But the idea that a treatment would cost $125 was just crazy. So we went back to the salon to find out what had happened. Turns out they charged her $185 for cut and color (when she didn't have a cut or 'color', just roots), $45 for treatment (that she never wanted) and $20 for tinting her eyebrows (they had agreed to use the left-over root color on her eyebrows to avoid waste!). Went there today for a haircut for my 3 yo. Been there a few times before and have always been happy. However usual hairdresser not available. I was not at all impressed with the manner and skill of the hairdresser today. She was very rude and had a ‘whatever’ attitude. She appeared to have no interest to engage with my little one or to cut her hair properly. No smiles etc. my little one was very still, I was able to keep her head still etc. when I walked to the checkout I noticed avert unevenly cut back of the hair. The boss asked the hairdresser to tidy it up but still wasn’t straight. This time the boss said “ well it’s hard to cut little ones because they don’t sit still”. Nope not good enough. She said very still. When asking where usual hairdresser was she said “ ah she’s left the salon” and left it at that. Also a “ whatever, couldn’t care less” attitude. Not going back. Got my hair cut at Epic Hair Woden and it is the worst haircut ever! hair cut was rushed and i was made to stand up to have my hair cut. I said that i didn't want the ends of my hair to be really blunt and the hairdresser thinned out literally half of my hair without even saying that is what she was doing, so unfortunately i have lost half of my hair! Instead of doing nice face framing pieces she cut a short jagged stair case looking piece of my hair which doesn't blend in at all and looks like a strange unhealthy rectangular fringe. The overall cut was rushed and i left with my hair looking less healthy than before and like i need a haircut but unfortunately i don't have much hair left to cut and will now have to wait until it grows out. thank goodness i have enough hair left to put up to hide this mess. Also extremely overpriced! i was charged $90 for a haircut without a shampoo or blow dry. I will never return to this hair salon and i will be telling everyone i know to avoid it!!

Went in for a colour, now my hair is over processed and destroyed with chunks of dead hair breaking off. When contacted to advise of this, was given every reason why it was my fault this had happened and did not even offer to come in to review as they no doubt already knew the condition of my hair when I left. Foils poorly placed and patchy, not toned correctly and lots of bleeding. Thanks for the damaged fairy floss hair that will take years to recover from. Never again!
