Dodge David turned up to our wedding we had him do our DJ and photobooth. I noticed that he did not provide a photo book for the photobooth when I ask him what happen he reply” it got wet in the car’ ok accidents happen and we agreed that he would reprint all the photos and send a photo book to me. We had our wedding on the 14th April and still haven’t received a copy of the photos on a USB and the book and printed images. He will not respond to emails or calls. All we want is our photos

David was all smiles and promises at the beginning, picking up the phone and generally very nice to us. He offered us a deal, $999 for a mirror photobooth, illuminated love sign, bollards, flower wall on the condition that we pay everything upfront which we stupidly took.
David cancelled on us a few days before the wedding leaving us high and dry, he doesn't answer the phone or emails anymore. Its been well over 2 months and we haven't received our refund. The absolute worst.
Wife and I were notified 48 hours before our wedding that a prepaid DJ/Flower wall/Photobooth package through Events by Koda was not going to be available via email.
Payment in full 9 months prior to wedding. 3 months after the event, we're still not paid back.
Do your own research prior to booking.
My wife and I paid in full to David Young trading as Events by Koda in September 2017 for DJ/photobooth/flower wall package on our wedding in the February 2018. 48 hours before the event, we received an email saying he can't make it due to unforeseen reasons.
Fast forward 2 months, i'm yet to receive a cent back from him after numerous promises that money will be transfer by COB of a certain date. Sadly, I'm not alone - there's a line of people awaiting for 'partial' payment plans from him for the refunds to events he never turned up at. Call NCAT and ask for the number of cases against him.
