Façonnable began in the 1950s, in the south of France as a small tailor shop on the Rue Paradis in Nice. Founder, Jean Goldberg, soon developed a reputation for authencity, the art of craftmanship and a commitment to quality. As a result, Mr Goldberg became a favourite for celebrities visiting the French Riviera in search of evening wear for high profile events like the Cannes Film Festival.
In the late 60s, Albert Goldberg took over his father's business and began producing a men's ready-to-wear collection created with timeless elelgance. The hallmarks of the brand included colourful designs, luxurious fabrics and impeccable craftmanship.
