Disgraceful customer service we were told that an electrician would turn up between 12 and 3 which is too long of a window we rang up at 5 past 3 to be told electrician was 45 to 50 mins away no one bothered to call to let us know he was going to be late I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will be letting everyone in the area not to use them
I used Fixzit today. I was quoted $640 to install a 6 kw air conditioner. Good points- friendly, turned up on time, phone assistance - very good. What really p..........me off - I had three ceiling fans, a outdoor sensor light and a dryer to be installed ( all supplied by me) . I foolishly didn't get a quote for these other ( what I thought) smaller items. Invoice reads Service $80, labour $425, materials $897 ( not itemized) Total Invoice with GST $1515. 2 men installed air conditioner, 1 man was responsible for other items. In the end dryer and sensor light were not installed because " ran out of time" .Arrived at 1.30pm left at 5.00pm. Apparently air con had to go to switchboard, all 3 fans had "problems " with installation and found "problems " with upstairs wiring. Oh, sorry I forgot, they gave me $25 discount on $ 1515 bill.
Make your own conclusions but for me NEVER AGAIN.

Received a phone call from management of Fixzit Coopers Plains after Truelocal review. They were professional and willing to listen, albeit a little upset. I explained my frustration and bewilderment of invoice of $1515. They explained 3 fans installed cost $150 each and remote $100. They admitted the invoice was poorly written out and materials charge couldn't have cost that much but included some other work done on the day. They admitted I should not have been charged $80 service charge. They offered to refund some money. I have learnt that you must ask for prices for everything and never assume something is just a small job.
I also believe that the Management of Fixzit Coopers Plains is trying to run an honest and reputable small business.
Always ask for an itemized invoice and if not happy consult the management first.

I recently used Fixzit electrical for a service of my air conditioner, the serviceman was at my house for 10 minutes and charged me $ 120 for information I already knew. He then said that an additonal $500 would be needed to do any further work and left without performing the service that had been described to me. I contacted the manager and told them I was unhappy with my service, they basically told me I got what I paid for. In my opinion I was ripped off and would not recommend them to ANYONE!!!!
We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with the result but your airconditioner was faulty (it had no gas) so the $500.00 was quoted to locate the leak, repair and re-gas. There was no point servicing an aircon that you didn't want to repair - it would have cost more as quoted ($143.00) with discount flyer and you still wouldn't have a working airconditioner.
You were charged the normal call out fee and first 15 mins of labour .
Do you think we should drive out to your home and find the fault and not charge you anything for time and costs - you need to be realistic
After reading the 8 reviews of how good Fixit is, I was sadly disappointed. Called to book job, no return call to confirm, job rescheduled to agreed time, they turn up 2hrs early, no one home then say that was the booking. My experience, lacks customer service, would not consider using.
