Fountain Valley Medical Centre

I have been at this centre previously, during the height of Covid and my mask exemption was accepted. However, today when I walked in I was told that you don't accept mask exemptions. This is a joke! A mask exemption is there for a reason, not only for who want's to accept it or not! I have been to hospitals where my exemption has been accepted! This is not even a government mandate anymore and you are a medical centre, supposed to provide medical care yet using discriminating behaviour and denying people access to medical services and then even threaten to charge them a cancellation fee.. This is disgusting behaviour from your company and you should be ashamed of yourself. I hope that people will vote with their feet and walk away from your centre unless you change this discriminating policy! So sad to see what medicine has come to... seems only $$$ count and not care anymore!

Monday 19th December.
My wife had to go to the medical centre this morning & go to Clinpath to have a blood test.
My wife is unable to wear a mask due to health issues - only one lung & asthma. A doctor in this surgery had given her a medical exemption from wearing a mask. On previous visits she has been told by reception,book appointments on a Sunday, less patients visiting & you won’t have to wear a mask.

5 stars! If it wasn't for the gentleman at the counter and the doctor working close to end of shift, I'd be back at the hospital til 4am again with how busy they are. I got to see the doctor for my little one who has been vomiting. Upon leaving, the receptionist gave me a hydro lite for my daughter. Was so lovely that I didn't have to sit at the hospital for 11 hours like I had done the day prior. Keep it up :) now this mummy can get some much needed sleep.

Worst reception on the planet. I waited ages for the Dr and people after me were being seen, so I asked at the reception desk why this was happening they basically told me to sit and shut up, just more words. The next minute the Dr walks out of the office and hasn't come back for 20 minutes. So I ask once again at reception desk, I asked why I was still waiting and the Dr wasn't even in their office. Once again I got told rudely to sit down. Next thing Dr comes rushing in and calls my name, the Dr apologies for the reception staff as they had not informed the Dr I was there. THE DR HAD TO APOLOGISE FOR THEIR MISTAKE!!!! Once I got out I went up to reception and told them they need to be responsible for their mistakes, say sorry to me instead of being rude and telling to sit down and wait. Worst reception staff! Most Drs are nice a couple a waste of time and just after their Medicare rebate, useless. But the worse part has to be reception, they are rude inconsiderate of the person who is actually I'll not feeling good and making them feel even worse! I you can avoid this place don't go there!
