Today I went to pick up my car as scheduled. While I was filling out paperwork (the girl at the front desk was lovely), one of the men who work there had a look at my debit credit card (clearly w the MasterCard symbol on it) said this is not a credit card, it's a debit card because it had the word "Debit" on it. After trying to explain to him what every person already know he refused to process my payment, rudely said "I don't have to call any bank" (after I suggested he call a bank to check). Finally he reached a solution: "I will process it but it will be a $500 bond (instead of $300)". I smelled a rat right away and asked for all copies of my drivers licence and bank card which they had just made. No one can be that stupid so I'm now certain that he either: 1. Wanted to extort me 2. Refused service due to my race or ethnicity 3. Didn't have a car to give me 4. Is a very "spethal" person Never had service like that anywhere. Don't put yourself through it.
