Gateways Fish & Chips

Ordered a fishermans basket and potato scallop, portion size was appropriate but the quality of the food was horrendous, chips were undercooked, potato scallops were too thick and uncooked in the middle, the crab sticks were bland and so was the fish and prawns. I also got one of the homemade tartare sauce pots ($2) really a waste, this isn't 'homemade' and has been made using light mayonnaise it is vinegary and sour and nothing like a quality tartare, a store bought tartare would have been nicer all in all very disappointed

The food is ok, chips are a little undercooked with way too much salt. But the service is absolutely appalling - not a single hello, please, thank you or goodbye! Another place that doesn't give much about customers.

Fish was horrible , very poor quality. The management is very rude and seems to treat their staff very poorly. Have not been there in a while as my last time there was horrendous but went there on friday and i wish i hadn't, only good thing was the very polite staff.

They got nice fish n chips .

I go to there every week ,good portion of the fish .

The owner do the good manager, staff really friendly .
