Had my car booked in for a week whilst I was away on holiday for a repair, I'd already pre-authourised A $2,500 limit before they needed to contact me. I even rang rang a coupleof times to make sure everything was ok, they assured me it was.
The reality is they just parked the car on the street and didn't even bother to look at.
Just wasted my time.
All promises but they didn't actually do anything.
I rarely write a review but their service was non excistant.
You can't beat GDL's customer service! I've been taking my car to GDL for over five years and have found Danny and the team to be professional, honest and diligent. My car always comes back clean and I'm forewarned of any major impending repairs. I highly recommend GDL!
It's clear to see why GDL have the most reviews (all 5 star)! I noticed on the invoice their vision is to "undo mistrust of auto repairers by developing a relationship built on trust". Today was the first time I've used GDL and they've done just that. They took my daughters car in for a service (after collecting, returning and washing it!) and fixed a rather concerning noise the car was making. They could have told me it was a timing belt or whatever they liked and I'd be none the wiser, however they were honest enought to tell me that it was because it was extremly low in oil! They completed the service, car is running much more smoothly and the noise has gone. I think their pricing is very reasonable and I'm excited to say that finally after 30 years of car ownership I've found a mechanic that I feel comfortable with !
I can highly recommend Danny at GDL for any automotive services. Danny is trustworthy, honest, communicates well and gets the work done really quickly. The standard of his work is excellent and very reasonably priced. My car was returned with extra coins in the centre console (from behind the seat) and when I realised I'd left my wallet in the car I wasn't worried as I knew I could trust Danny and his young offsider.
