A few weeks ag owe were here for dinner with the family. Over the years we’ve been here on so many occasions for numerous get together, celebrations and has become one of the family’s favorite go to place for Chinese cuisine. A number of mix dishes were ordered from Peking duck, abalone’s, fried rice and a few more. Good service like always, only concern I’ve always had with this restaurant is when it gets busy it gets really busy and the waiter tends to put some pressure on getting you to leave promptly so the next group could come in. This only leaves a sour taste when you’re trying to enjoy the dining experience, and paying quite a large amount to be usher quickly and left to feel like a number rather than a customer. Overall, great Chinese restaurant based in the hub of the western suburbs!

This place never disappoints. I regularly come here for their yum cha food especially the har gow and sui mai which never disappoints in terms of taste and quality. Food here usually comes out quick but is always busy.

A old time favourite or more so convenience way to have a family get together where we end up at gold leaf at least once every 2 - 3 months. Not the best service ever but not so bad either. Banquets is the easiest way to go when in a large group and if there is a dish on the banquet that isn't a favourite, Gold Leaf are very flexible. On this occasion they must have been very busy but we had made reservations and advise for 2 high chair. But when we arrived we were seated at a table that did not have any high chair. We then needed to wait for them to set us up at a bigger table so the 2 high chair can fit within. I mean it wasn't so bad waiting as they were still able to cater for our needs. Food came out quite quick and waiters were zooming through our 6 course menu that we felt very full towards the end. My son loved watching the fishes in the fish tank and good thing we were seated close to it so i was able to keep an eye on him.

We were celebrating a birthday here as few weekends back in which it was booked a number of weeks in advance. They were great with setting up our request with the 2 high chairs for the babies, and the table size was perfect to cater for the large number of people we had. We opted for a banquet, had made a number of changes prior to ensure that the food would suit everyone dining that evening. The food came out promptly, dishes were great, only minor complain would be the crab dish was quite small the servings, each plate there was hardly any crabs with a small servings of noodles. Overall, the service was great. A bit forgetful a few times the waiters forgetting to bring the drinks or sauce that were requested. We had brought our own birthday cake, which was served towards the end, it would have been great if they had gave the table a bit of a wipe down to make it a somewhat presentable. Overall, great evening celebrated at the restaurant!
