The restaurant looks like it has undergone a refurbishment since my last visit since who knows when. The trademark fish tanks are still positioned at the entrance, but there appear to be new seats, giving an overall appearance of newness.
My parents had dined with some friends and enjoyed a banquet meal where there was evidently an overbundance of catering judging by the leftovers; the quantity of food could have food the same number of people again. My understanding is that rather than a set price per person there is a set price for the banquets, and when looking at nearly four digits for a mid-week dinner for no reason other than to catch up, it could be considered a bit decadent. The feast included lobster, hainanese chicken, scallops with snow peas, and roast meats among a number of other dishes, cooked in the traditional Cantonese style.
