I can't comment on the food quality as we only stayed for a drink. On the way in we noticed two indulged dog owners with their pampered pooches at a table so we sat well away from them, however when we were deciding what to eat we noticed another dog at a nearby table. Then we noticed a wait staff member pat a dog on their way in to the building and emerge a couple of minutes later with a plate in each hand and thumbs on the plates. Nice!!! So we voted with our feet. After arriving home and reading the reviews I don't think we missed out on anything special anyway. We ate at the other restaurant and had a nice meal and no dogs allowed. When I rang Goody's later to advise the management as to why we left they were ambivalent and didn't seem too concerned they had lost two customers; just repeated the mantra 'we pride ourselves on being dog friendly'.
What a delightful surprise this coffee restaurant is, situated on the beach front with beautiful ocean views. We thoroughly enjoyed our Lillianas freshly ground locally produced coffee's, in this stunning relaxed atmosphere. The smoothness and lingering after taste of this coffee comes only from good freshly roasted and freshly ground beans. The menu at Goody's looked very appealing and modestly priced, must return for lunch some time. Looking for coffee in this area, then this is the place. Good attentive service contributed to our enjoyment.
