This is the worst conveyancer company ever! We are first home buyer and buying in a different state to where we live, so we decided to get a conveyancer in the state where we building as they will know more about the rules and regulations. When i spoke to Andrew on the phone he sounded so helpful and happy to help us out and i thought oh how lucky we manage to find a good conveyancer but i was so wrong!
I sent our land contract to Andrew so he can review and let me know if everything was fine to sign. When i spoke to Andrew about the contract he just say yea everything is fine just the normal contract and he sounded as if he didn't bother reading it. Working in the mortgage/banking segment for the past ten years... deal with solicitors + conveyance companies on a daily basis.... must say their customer service and professional knowledge so far is the best I've came across... By far... believe it or not very rare to come by... good enough that I've given them my own transfers to deal with.
As a follow on from my previous experience. Gordon conveyancing handed me a bunch of documents after the settlement, and said sort it out yourself. I had agreed to pay an extra fee to register the title. They did not complete the task I agreed to pay for. This they say is because I complained.
This business does not communicate, does not accept any responsibility for there errors and runs when there is a problem.

First visit i explained our needs. Sale of house and purchase a unit from the proceeds of house.
I was not informed there were extra fees... fixed price advertised.
When presented with documents to sign, the costs were blank. So they hand wrote them in. Now all parties have to initial the changes. At this stage i was informed of the extra charge...to late, we are too far into it. The unit purchase required body corperate stuff... Gordon Conveyancing did not read or did not follow written instructions from the villiage, impacting on time to settlement.
Things going south, but can,t go elsewhere at this stage. Now phone calls are not being taken and their friendly attitude goes down hill.
