$10 tickets. No - you haven't gone back in time, this was yesterday (and they're $10 every day, at least at the moment). This is really quite amazing, especially as it's not some dodgy run down cinema. Quite comfortable seating, they could do with a few more seats in their foyer but otherwise it's a fine place to wait. Sound was good, picture quality good. All good!
I have not been here to Arndale Greater Union in quite some time and nothing much has changed. The cinema I went into was still decent and the seats were not run down or anything which was good, so I guess they have kept their upkeep and maintenance well.
This isn't the newest shopfront but the actual cinemas seem to have been renovated more recently - comfy seats that are surprisingly large, sound is great (though at one stage we did hear some bass from the cinema next door). Cinemas are large enough, and I think there were 6-7 of them.
The staff were really friendly, like visiting an old friend even though we'd never been there before. Prices at the popcorn/candy stall weren't cheap but there's no surprise there and actually I reckon they were a bit cheaper than most other cinemas.
Okay, I hate leaving negative reviews so this will be a nuetralish one!
Great facilities and screen size. friendly staff but the popcorn was a little on the stale side.
I suppose it was an 8pm session time, but even still!
I would definately go back and try earlier next time. Always have fun visiting my sister and going to see a flick here!
It's nearly been a year ago since coming here to watch a movie and nothing much has changed. The cinema we were in was decent, good like last time but again the service was quite slow being that the food line up was mixed with the tickets line and also as busy as the night was there was only three people serving.
