I went to Hair Culture in Merrylands yesterday and felt quite lost and disappointed. It took them a while to even notice me and serve me, I asked if they were busy and if they were able to do my hair they said you would only need to wait for 5 minutes. Assured by this five minutes it turned into 10minutes. This was just the beginning of my experience there. Anyway, not to be racist at all I could observe that many of the employees were proficient in English which I could tell was an issue for other customers who were waiting and customers who had enquiries. Which is quite embarrassing for a business. I went with the first package which was $55 which included a full colour of my choice. My hairdresser for the experience could barely speak English which was difficult anyways I chose to go with a full colour of brown hair. Disgusting behaviour portrayed by their staff including the owner whereby they all blatantly & purposely ignored an older severely disabled woman who came into the Salon on Saturday 5 May 2018. They sat her in her wheelchair in front of the mirror and left her unattended for 1.5 hours. No one made any attempt to try and communicate with this lady or to try and understand her needs. They just completely avoided her. On two occasions, I raised my concerns with different staff that she appeared to be distressed at having to wait for so long without being attended to. Both staff members brushed me off and did nothing. Eventually the Owner Bas, instructed the junior apprentice to ‘deal’ with this woman (by rudely pointing at her). The apprentice then wrote a note (obviously instructed by the owner to do so) and shoved it under the woman’s nose to read. I am writing this to help others not go through what i have with this terribly run hairdresser salon. I am absolutely livid after my experience here & the disgusting customer service & unprofessionalism displayed by staff and management. I had balayaged hair ( brown & blond highlights ) when i walked into the salon which had grown out a bit and asked for it to be fixed up & made less orange & a less golden blonde. I showed pictures to the young girl who was my hairdresser and she seemed to know what she was doing.
I knew something was wrong when i was left at the basin for at least and hour and a half and could see them putting more toner or bleach or whatever itread more
Waste of time & money ! That's the worst hair experience I have ever had . Today , I was at Hair Culture , Merrylands to get my hair-dyed . After they washed and blow-dried my hair , just before we left , I had a proper look at my hair and I noticed that the lady who dyed my hair didn't do it properly as I have still my natural hair colour in my roots although I wanted them to dye full head . I was so disappointed and told the lady and showed the parts she missed when she was dying . She told me if I close my forehead with my fringe , it isn't gonna be seen , she said the same about the side parts of my hair . I was in shock and I said that s freaking frustrating . They didn't give a care about it at all . I have never ever had such a customer service like this before . I was told to walk off , to make a long story short and I will pass this bad experience on everyone to and share my feedback everywhere . They are just terrible .
