My dog stayed there for 1 week. We we booked and checked him in, we were assured he will have a great time and be well looked after. But when we picked him up, he looked sad, tired and had lost one kilo in one week. He also smelled bad. The centre said his package includes a bath but they did not manage to give him a bath.
Overall, a disappointing experience for us.
I have boarded at Hanrob Heathcote a few times and think that with expansion over the years the business has gone down hill incredibly.
I do not use this business anymore as they can never answer simple questions about Dog's time at the kennel.
When you get there they like to butter everyone up about how lovely your dog is and when you leave you get a scrap of paper saying how well your dog did. This is all a lot of rubbish and does not explain anything, it is all to make the owner feel good so they will return. ...read more

Not a good experience. I now have 2 sick dogs, this was the first time I have had to put my dogs in a kennel. It was $350 for 5 nights.
A week later they both have kennel cough, this has cost me $140 in anti-biotics and vet visits so far.
I will not take them there again.

We didn't have a good experience at all. We had out 5 month old puppy in there for two weeks and they changed his diet without telling us and he was very sick with diahorrea and low energy levels. He was to the vet twice during his stay and I had to pay for one of the consultations and their prescribed antibiotic. We also noticed a scrape on his nose which appeared to be due to a fight. He was himself when we picked him up and his abnormal behaviour continued for weeks after. Would expect more from such a reputable place.

Yes, it was followed up by Hanrob who did nothing but act defensively. I will never take my dog there again. What a terrible experience, Hanrob shouldn't be allowed to look after animals
