Was in store 15 mins looking around for a vaccum filter and a steam iron not one person that works there asked if i needed help wont be going there again will shop online for electronics from now on.....

very unhelpful, tried to buy a stove, staff did not know much about products and refused to give a layby. called other harvey norman stores and was told laybys are welcome.

While some of the staff here are kind and know what they are doing - there are those grumpy ones who are obviously there for pay cheque than customer service. I will not buy from here again. Brought an iPad Mini 7 days later it was broken, working fine put it on charge come back 15 minutes later black screen non responsive. After a couple of weeks I needed an iPad mini for work, went in and brought one as the other 2 stores in Young that sell iPad mini's didn't have any in stock. Had it all of 3 days before the same thing happened - took it back and now been over two weeks and keep getting told 'just got an update in the system it is now with apple'.
Its the same excuse and they have had the ipad longer than I had it. Will not buy any electronics from here what-so-ever and my advice to others would be to avoid them, especially if you like customer service.
