The Hayashi Teppanyaki restaurant offers diners a night of entertainment and Japanese cuisine. It is fully licensed so there is no need to bring your own. The only day that they are closed is on a Monday. Unfortunately they dont open for lunch but are family friendly. If you are bringing the family or friends there is a banquet menu to choose from. If you have a taste for miso or stir fried bean sprouts then Hayashis can provide.

Okay so i'm no Matt Preston but i AM a massive foodie so obviously the food is the most important to me. We booked in advance so there was no disappointment as the restaurant only seats about 25 people grill side. The chef & waitstaff were absolutely fantastic, funny, entertaining & attentive. They really set the mood. We ordered a "banquet" each - now when i hear that i think i am actually getting a banquet but alas it was not to be :( I know certain people would be satisfied with the quantity but if you're use to eating alot then i suggest you snack before going. Small chicken skewers with a microscopic portion of sticky rice for entree (set). The beef was then flared up & flame grilled with great showmanship - garlic, oil & butter. Nice & tender. Then came 2 prawns grilled once again with garlic, oil & butter (?). A small plate of chicken with a nice yakitori sauce followed. Then came the calamari cooked in - yep, oil garlic & BUTTER!!! I'd never been to Teppanyaki before, so I took a gamble on my 23rd birthday. But it was the most entertaining dinner ever! Rather than simply throwing food at you, the chefs display a great sense of humour and really build the atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and it was terribly entertaining when family members were covered in rice! Service is very attentive, so any mess is cleaned up immediately. Enough from me, try it out yourself! But ensure to book to avoid disappointment!
