Do not use.
I contacted Heat Cool explaining that the fan in my heater is no longer working. They came to my house, charged me $200 to do so, and then told me that it could not be fixed, and gave me a quote for $7,000 for a new heater.
I contacted another company, who came and repaired my heater.
I asked for my $200 back (which is an exorbitant call out fee anyway). I was told that they would refund the $200 if I provided an invoice for the repair from the other company. I did this. Do you think I got a refund? No, just excuses. I was then told that they are not electricians and refrain from doing electrical work! Why did you come to my house and charge $200 to start with, when you knew the problem was the fan!
They also told me that they only use genuine parts, and they were not available for the heater. Why tell me this after you have been and charged me $200? You knew the model number of the heater, and you knew the issue.
Very poor service.

Very unhappy with this service. Spent $400+ on a consultation with no resolution (except that it needed a new part and an electrician) with a $500+ quote to fix. Called electrician. $200 later plus a cheap part he purchased locally - (a battery! - $5.00) it's fixed. You really expect a company to operate honestly, this one does not.

Totally positive experience. Friendly staff on the phone, the technician turned up exactly when he said he would, and he did a great job. He took the time to carefully explain common uses of the panel he installed, and make some further suggestions to improve the energy efficiency of our home. I'd definitely use HeatCool again.

Wow, can't believe some of these reviews. These guys are champions, panic stations when split system failed me on Sunday. Called and all fixed within 24 hours. Well done guys, great team from call centre to friendly tech. Comfort restored!! :)
