Disappointing! The coffee was ok.
After ordering coffees and attempting to choose a table, preferably where we could enjoy the lake view, we were told by the staff member that we could not sit there, neither could we sit outside as they were not very busy and did not want people seated in those areas before they closed (within the hour of our arrival for coffee). There were a few customers in that inside area at the time. We declined the table she guided us toward (only because because in the then very lightly populated cafe we did not want to be in a huddle with the other customers and as I use a walking frame with very limited mobility, a little more space was preferable. Love Hippo's, it is the local go to cafe. Service can be a bit slow, however this is only because of the huge amount of customers! The food and drinks are delicious, and despite being so busy the waitstaff are very friendly #reviewtowin

Here's one for you all. Booked for dinner tonight Tuesday 15th July for birthday by phone name,time etc.
We arrived to be told that we don't open Mon or Tues for Dinner. What The !!! Oh well off to my old favourite .

We have an entertainment book and also received a gift voucher for Christmas which we decided to use. As we all know a gift voucher is classed as cash and was purchased by a friend of ours for us to use. When we attempted to order and pay for our meals we were told that we could not use the entertainment voucher and gift voucher together.



We left the location without buying anything. This business is trading against fair trading rules.

We had an Entertainment book voucher so went in to give it a try. The coffee and food were pretty good, but we were glad we had the voucher because even with it, we found the place to be overpriced. The kids play area is great. Service was slow, we waited for a long time for our food, but the place was quite busy, to be fair. Cakes looked good, but we didn't try them. Not sure if I'd go back, too many other places to try.
