I have been to Hogs Breath plenty of times in Brisbane and am always very impressed with the food quality and service. This was not the case in Darwin. The service WAS excellent and our entree arrived quickly, and then about 10 minutes later our main and drinks arrived. We were so impressed at how quickly our meals had come out, that was until we started eating. The person I was with ordered the chicken parmigiana, it was about the size of a piece of chicken you'd expect on a burger from Mcdonalds. My steak was soggy and rare (instead of medium rare). Ive even had under cooked steaks that have been tender on the outside and rare in the middle which have been ok but this was as if they had pulverised the steak with a mallet and cooked it in the microwave. The service was pretty ordinary when I ate here with some friends. Love the chicken burger and curly fries. The cocktails are really nice. The weekends can be really busy sometimes which may delay food for an hour sometimes (if you're lucky). Not bad but not great!

my mother was up on holidays and we took her here for lunch. She lost her glasses, Even though it was not a busy day and even though we made several phone calls to them, noone would do a though search to find them. When my husband and myself went back that night to look for ourselves, they were sitting at the front counter, apparently no one wanted to take the responsbility to call and inform us they had been found.
