The Hunter Valley's venue for all occasions.Hollydene Estate is situated just 10km west of Jerrys Plains on the historic Arrowfield vineyard site that's nestled between two of Australia's most prestigious thoroughbred horse studs. The cellar door extends out over beautifully manicured lawns. Comfortable bar seating and lounge areas furnish the architecturally designed building that features timber from the old Bowman's Crossing bridge that once crossed the Hunter river at Jerrys Plains. It's the perfect place to take in the views while sampling premium award winning wines including Methode Traditionelle sparklings, liqueurs and Hunter Valley favourites, along with Gewurtztraminer, Tempranillo and Sangiovese our wines are grown from 3 of the oldest vineyards in the Upper Hunter Valley.
Our 150 seat onsite restaurant 'Vines' offers a modern yet rustic Australian cuisine to suit those visiting with a relaxing dining experience in mind or those just passing by. About an hours drive out of the main Hunter region is Hollydene Estate. It is a huge vineyard estate with a beautiful sprawling view and a lot of outdoor space. When we arrived there was a private event going on and no staff to be seen. We walked around awkwardly trying to find someone and see if we can taste some of their wine but to no avail. I would have loved to have the opportunity to taste some of their wines but walking around the grounds was nice too. It would be a great place for an event.
