I.T.P. The Income Tax Professionals

Not sure what is going on in their office...I contacted them to complete a Deceased Estate Tax Return. I provided a summary of all key details and the required documents. It was a very straight forward piece of work. They initially advised that they were busy but could complete the work in 3 weeks time - I said sure - that sounded very reasonable. Another 4 weeks and the only contact happended when I reached out to them on a couple of occasions - they kept advising 'maybe next week'. After a total of 7 weeks - Enough! I made one phonecall to a different tax agent in Dee Why (H&R Block) and secured an appointment the next day - I dealt with their Office Manager Eva (she was extremely efficient) and witthin 24hrs the return was being progressed.

An error had happened where my tax rebate was accidentally given to the itp bank account, initial error was not itp fault. However, subsequently itp northern beaches did not respond to many of my queries and request for funds to be returned. I had to engage itp hq before gaining any traction and then I got charged $450 from northern beaches itp when they finally returned my money.
I have asked for a itemised invoice and have still not had a reply, how can they charge so much!
Incredibly bad experience.
