We were greeted by menus thrown on the table before we had the chance settled ourselves. Never been here before and not a good first impression.
We were only given 2 menus for 4 of us which was not a bug deal. A flood of customers came in and we requested to order. The staff did not come to take our order saying he could not get through the waiting customers, which was a lame lazy excuse, without making any efforts. Our attempts to get the attention and calling out to have our order taken were completely ignored. Decided to go to the manager (or could be the owner) who had been rude from the start, instead of waiting for them to come and tell him the order. He said he does not take orders, did nothing to help. I wonder if being a busy popular restaurant justify them to being rude.

NEVER EVER going back to this joint. Why it is busy astounds me. Firstly the owner is very very rude. Despite checking with the waiter if i could use AMEX, when I got to the counter the owner refused me. He proceeded to give me a lecture about how he is the owner and i need to "check with the owner" not the waiting staff with any questions. He said he would be be hit with a surcharge and I then confirmed I was willing to pay his surcharge (3%) and also that i met his minimum spend requirement. After looking me in the eye, he said "really?" and then he just flat out refused and said "i am just not going to do it". This just topped off the worst meal experience ever. The portions were tiny. All in attendance agreed that a main and rice did not cut it if you wanted to get full you had to order 3 courses. The price was definitely NOT value for money especially given the size and the flavour of the dishes. The prawns were severley lacking or any flavour whatsoever. They ...read more
