Being a teacher of years 4-6, I thought I had an understanding of how to teach children. Sitting there watching the instructor take his class blows me away every time. The guy is a genius how he does it. His methodology is amazing and what amazed me even more, was the level of knowledge those children in his class are taught through repetitive reinforced learning that is frequently reviewed to ensure they grasp the basic concepts. You have to see it for yourself.

If I could give more stars I would! Mike you are just the best, I am so so pleased that by chance I found your school and that this is a school where you earn your belts. Coming from a club in Rockingham my son had received his third belt and my husband and I thought he was doing really well, that was until he attended class at nine dragon. On seeing him with a class of white and yellow belts he looked like he had never been to training before. Moving forward three months, I am really truly seeing the difference. And to put the icing on the cake, we were in Rockingham on the weekend at his cousins birthday. Both his cousins still train at the same club and are now two belts above him, of course they wanted to do play fight and sparring as boys do. Everyone there were so surprised when I told them he was still on his yellow belt, they thought my son was a little black belt. now his cousins do not want to play fight with him. All clubs are not the same, so look around, read more
If your looking for a martial arts academy to start your kids, Nine Dragon Martial Arts Academy is the one. Dont even waste your time with some of those Tae Kwon Do clubs. I had my child at Burridge, all that I can say about that is that it was a waste of time and money. Instructors under 18, no control. I took my child to Nine Dragon on the recomendation of a friend and I am glad I did. Very good instructors, well priced and a great club.
I found you guys through true local so its befitting that I give you some feed back. before coming to you guys my little boy was out of control and we took him to Tae Kwon Do on Banister Road, what a joke that was I pulled him out after two lesson when he was ""given" his bellt, classic cheque book training and it was just by chance on driving back I noticed your centre. He has now been with you for over two years and the results are amazing I see the difference every day in his skill and attitude. keep doing what your doing because your fantastic at it.
