Went to this pub for a lunch last weekend and I have to say it was quite average. The staff are very friendly and that made the experience better, but the food was definitely average. We had a few dishes to share and they all were a but plain unfortunately. We had the pork sausages and mash, the tandoori chicken pie and the shnitzel with prawns (the last one was the best as it had the most flavour! So if you're going, I'd recommend that!). Their garlic bread was nice too. Overall not a bad experience but for food I'd probably go elsewhere unless you're having snacks!
This pub has all the facilities you could ask for. Pokies, great food, live music, trivia nights, out door area. Service can be a little slow if they are very busy, and you have to get in early to score a table on Friday and Saturday night. Friendly staff and a unique decor.
This is a medium sized venue with a bar and a bistro. I like the atmosphere, the bar is wooden and seems somewhat Irish. Food is a expensive but nice. They do special events (such as St Patrick's day celebrations) from time to time which are fun. Good vibe on Saturday night.
A 400-gram rib eye steak, still attached to its bone, drizzled in pepper sauce and accompanied by a vegetable medley of mash, carrots, broccoli, cabbage and zuchini. Tender and juicy meat. The creamiest and smoothest mash potato. This was Ma Duggans Kitchen award winning steak dish - the Riverena Tomahawk ($30). I highly rate it!
If steak is not your thing, the menu has other Irish offerings such the steak and Guinness pot pie. There is also a kid's menu, as well as gluten free and vegetarian options. I recommend giving the salt roasted pork belly ($27) a miss. The crackling was crunchy but the pork was too ...read more
Great food and a nice venue for drinks at the weekend too.
Had a few meals here and everything from the cheaper schnitzels to the more expensive dishes has been lovely. My favourite to date has been the BBQ Lamb Rump which was a special and I'm hoping to try the Belly Pork next off a recommendation.
Definitely the place to go for good food!
