Absolutely disgraceful customer service, we are appalled!!
We had blockout curtains installed in our baby’s room and we had only one request to the sales rep who came out to quote and advise; we required the room to be dark so that baby could sleep during the day. However once installed we were shocked to see that the sun shone through at the top and it was bright as day in the room.. when we called to ask what could be done about this we were told it would need an additional pelmet at $500.. this REALLY needed to be included in the original quote, which is what you’d expect from a good sales rep who listens to customers and their requirements, NOT as an additional cost after the fact!
The worst part though was the owner’s attitude to helping fix the problem - she was rude bordering on abusive, even saying to me “have you never had curtains before? They always let light in.”... unbelievable.
Avoid at all costs, I regret using this company.
I have used Jaleigh Blinds & Curtains for a number of years being a loyal customer prior large order last year. I recently ordered a vertical blind track plus brackets to fit over a glass sliding door. In the past Jaleigh blinds had supplied this very same thing for another sliding door in my home plus the vertical drapes and accessories. I was given two choices, a face fit bracket or recess fit bracket. Neither was suitable. I was given no other option. I placed the order then came home and had another look at the bracket and realised there definitely was an alternative to what I was shown. I dismantled the other blinds and extended recess fit bracket (which I didn't at that stage no what it was called ) and took to Jaleigh blinds. Once there I was met with no one knowing anything about an alternative bracket. I asked could the purchaser of the company or someone identify the name of the bracket. No offer was forthcoming only a mobile phone picture sent to aread more
I am truly sorry Jen W feels this way.
She knew prior to her purchase of the single track that we did not have the bracket she wanted. It would have been at least five years since we would have used a bracket of that type as fashions change over the years. These brackets are generally made up of several parts and as we don't use them anymore, we don't stock the parts. My staff did ask the factory if they could supply them but after looking through old stock Jen was notified that we could not supply them. I don't know what else they where supposed toread more
Poor cheap quality, terrible. Tab at ends of blinds fell off in weeks. Better quality companies out there, give them a miss by all costs!
We take our customer service very seriously. Have you contacted to store in regards to this matter.
I used Jaleigh when I moved into a new house as I was a return customer. I was unhappy with the installation of the holland blinds as they were installed in a manner which impedes the blind from going up and down correctly. My drapes were also not installed as per instructions and the curtain rod is uneven. The panel glide blinds pull apart most times when opening or shutting them and the bottoms of them scrape on the floor. Jaleigh were not interested in rectifying my problems.
Jaleigh are hopeless. I booked to have blinds and shutters installed and the guy turned up 2.5 hours late after leaving another job 2ks away ! (went for lunch?) ..then only had half the blinds with him didnt know anything all about the other blinds. Hence there was some payback from me. The blinds are already falling down. Jaleigh not interested.
