One of the most unique restaurants in the city, Jazushi fuses Japanese food and culture with live jazz music, performed by a variety of professional artists. A short walk from Central station means you can have your fill of jazz, sushi and drinks, and still be home for bedtime on almost any night of the week. The heated outdoor garden has a traditional oriental theme complete with bamboo.

The food here is AHHHHHHMAZING! I would go here every night if I could, each dish is awesome, great elements and taste. I rarely go to the same restaurant more than once, just so I can try everything, but I would happily dine here regularly. Cute little place, nice and tucked away. Definitely give this a go if you like food.
I would echo the comments of the reviewer before. The meals were tasty, fresh and superb. Interesting flavour combinations of traditional Japenese style dishes with other modern international flavours. The tempura camembert was absolutely sinfully delicious. Sushi & Sashimi were of excellent quality and very fresh. Interestingly, we had a couple of 'non-seafood eaters' at our table and there was PLENTY for them to choose from as well. Outdoor seating upstairs is airy but very well protected from the elements - and can be closed off in inclement weather. The night was cool, but we were toasty warm even with the roof open. Service was slow - not bad or rude - but slow. Not a show stopper for me though.
We went here on Saturday night for a birthday and it was a very good experience. We sat in the courtyard/balcony part which had lovely lighting and good heating. Entrees were Sushi and Sashimi platters, vegetarian rolls and Camembert tempura (superb!). We then had mixed mains including wagyu beef, and other delicacies. The service left a little to be desired. Although friendly, they took a very long time to get first drinks and needed some prompting throughout the evening. Overall great food and ambience.
