The Karingal Veterinary Hospital has been servicing the Frankston area for over 25 years.

It is sad to have to write a negative review but, this Vet Clinic/Hospital in Karingal is certainly overpriced. Whether is a simple consultation or else (e.g. having a dog's nails clipped) their fees are extremely high. People running this place have an attitude as well. Have taken several dogs here over the years and they have been very good - but I have a couple of complaints. My dogs teeth are in pretty good nick - only one with tartar buildup and a very tiny bit of plaque on two other teeth. Was quoted $730 for a dental plus more if there are any tooth extractions. Very helpfull caring and Honest staff/Vets. Our 15 Year old Kelpie cross, Saxon, has trouble breathing in hot weather due to a laryngs issue. (common in older dogs like ours and labradors). I have had mixed experiences with this clinic. A few years ago our poor cat was hit by a car on a busy road, we called ahead and said we were coming and our cat was critical, we rushed there with him on a flat board as he wasn't walking and were told to take a seat as vets were on lunch.
