Only Irish pub in Newtown. The venue is a little messy and dingy. Drinks are fairly cheap and food is okay. Pretty average place, not the best there is in Newtown.

It's the only Irish pub along King Street. Which is rather silly, considering the amount of pubs along King Street.

We popped in for a quick bevvie on our way past shopping.

I have eaten here before and it's great pub food, decent price and huge serves.

The beer is cold and hits the spot.

What more can you ask for in a pub?

Not one of the best pubs in Newtown, but the drinks are pretty cheap compared to some of the other pubs in the area. The location is convenient, so I usually only go here if I want a quick drink.

It's not as bad as what everyone says about this place but it would probably be my last venue to step in to in Newtown. Because it's so dark and dingy inside with no ventilation it does get quite stuffy and smelly, but I guess that's the whole part of being in a rowdy Irish joint?
