I took a train ride down from Sydney today to pickup a VW Golf I'd seen on Carsales. I have to say that Rick was really helpful right from the first phone enquiry a few days ago, even picking me up from the station this morning. I went over the car with a fine toothed comb and it was exactly as described by Rick over the phone - Perfect! I challenged one aspect of the documentation and Rick spent a good 20 mins (with the pressure of a potential customer watching over his shoulder) pulling together the details to show it was as advertised. He spent considerable time making sure I was comfortable with the car and the documentation, without being pushy or over the top. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership were extremely helpful and courteous, I can't recommend them highly enough. I drove the car home and it was faultless. I'm extremely happy with the service and the car! They even threw in a nice gift to add the icing to the cake!
For almost 6 months, I have been in search for a Honda Accord Euro. Having gone through an incident where I was almost scammed $15,000 by a private seller, you could imagine I have become very reluctant in buying a car. A few days after the incident, I had come across a ad on carsales for a Honda Accord Euro from Kinghorn Motors. Immediately after I had placed my interest on carsales, I was contacted by an absolutely, outstanding salesman named Ryan, who guided me through the entire process of purchasing a car. Just had my 80,000km service on my 2009 Ford Ranger done by kinghorn motors.They did not change my engine oil or filter.
They did not look at a starting/charging issue I had ask them to look at.
When i spoke to them about this i was told the charging problem was my fault and i should ensure i lock my doors and unpug my phone charger. And they told me that engine oil will be black and gritty in a diesel engin after 1000km!
Do not have your perfectly good Ford stuffed up by these people!!

I purchased a used vehicle in early 2010 from Kinghorn Motors and I had a great experience. Ryan the salesman there helped to get me in the right car for me. The after sales experience was just as good. I did have a small problem with the car after purchasing it (as can happen with all cars) and after contacting Kinghorn Motors, they directed me to the service department who fixed it promptly. I have had my car serviced regularly by them and each time I have been extremely satisfied with the job they have performed. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone who was looking for a great used car.
The only good thing about dealing with this company is the price of the car I bought. Customer service (before and after my purchase) was almost non existent. You walk into the show room and they put their head down and don't want to know you. I had the first service done today and had an issue with the tray on the ute - not level. When I picked the car up, I pointed out to a person in the service area the tray was still out and their response was "it's only 5 to 10 mm out - that should be okay" and if I wanted it fixed it would need to be customised - What a load of Bull!! Would not consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership again - will travel out of the area. I have always purchased new cars - Holden, Mazda etc and the service has been great. I even received follow up calls from them to see how the vehicle was going and if there were any issues.
Love the ford ute, Hate the service from Kinghorn Ford Nowra.
