Went for dinner tonight and didn’t realise we timed it with the launch of their new menu. Seems like we timed our visit perfectly as was such a treat. Some great new dishes% but with still old classics
I had the duck salad - hubby had the roast.
Hi R dryer.
Thank you for the positive feedback! We loved having you dine with us. Look forward to seeing you again soon.
Thanks,
Kings Creek Hotel
I have just come from this venue and the payout system is down meaning they can't payout because they can"t verify details. One lady there now is waiting as she doesn't live locally and would find it difficult to return for her money, not to mention she may need the money today. Belatedly, staff are running around telling patrons of the situation AND a sign has been put on the door notifying the same. I agree, until signs were in place, the venue should have been closed.
Further to this, a VIP sign is displayed at the entrance to the $1 machines. I argued with management that we are all VIP's but of course got nowhere.
Have seen an improvement in staff contentment and applicatiion in recent weeks. I do hope this continues.
BUT...please explain why a roast turkey(which tasted like manufactured meat) is served with MASHED POTATO. Is it because it was a senior's meal?' I would prefer a smaller meal than an inferior meal.
I dined with friends here today only because the play area is great for little kids. I ordered as per menu - sausages, mash, spinach and onion gravy. I received sausages, mash, bacon and plain gravy. On questioning the difference, the kitchen staff apparently said that they had changed the menu. Pity they don't inform the customer. It was not what I wanted or ordered. I did receive a "sorry", but that was all. Not even an offer of a side veggie plate.
The office door was locked so I rang and spoke to the management. They concurred that the menu has changed and saw my point that the meal should not change until the menu listing was changed. They said to see them next time I am there and they would sort something out, whatever that means. They had a pleasant tone but not once did he apologize for any inconvenience. I wonder if the serving staff could possibly be informed of any changes so that they could pass this info onto unsuspecting customers.
