The store is overloaded and congested, aisles are very narrow, so you have to wait until another customer moves away from the opposite shelf before you can take a look, long waits at the check out. And wait till you try to replace an item! The fact that it is the most common of all things we use, and by my appearance you can easily gauge that I've been using them for at least 40 years, never crossed the salesperson's mind. Finally agreed "as an act of goodwill" to replace the item. FYI the Australian Consumer Law provides basic rights for consumers to return goods that they have bought, including if they are faulty, dont match samples, or dont perform as expected. I will use KW online store or stores in other locations, but I will never go to Midland store again.
I am in kitchen heaven!! Cutting, cooking, baking or serving. 90% of the time they have what you need. An in-store kitchen allows you to see product demonstrations and taste the result. Only need a cake tin for one thing - then hire it. Cant see what you are looking for then just ask, the staff are very friendly and are happy to answer your questions.
