Sorry for the long post!!! I just dont want anyone to experience what we have!!!!
In December 2015 we dropped a blind off at the Fyshwick store, to have the string repaired, was told this will take 3 weeks. I was Happy with this responce as it was Christmas time..... but then the nightmare started!!!
Mid/to end of January 2016 I called to see if I could pick up my blind (on a Saturday), they couldnt find it and would call me back on Monday as the weekend staff dont know how to do find that kind of stuff. Come Wednesday no one called us.... so we had to call then, they couldnt locate out blind so they will call us back later in the afternoon, 2 days later no call back so we call them again, and once more they couldnt find our blind and call as back, which they never did we always hadread more
Things havent changed at Kresta Canberra in 2016. No one returns calls or answers emails. Head office doesn't either. Don't go any where near the interest free arrangement. Kresta will withdraw the full amount of the order from account even though it hasnt provided the order. Please don't trust this company with your business or your money.
I join the long list of paying customers extremely unhappy with the service from Kresta Blinds in Fyshwick, ACT. After 11 months, 3 blind replacements, lots of phone calls (but never,ever,a call back from the company!) our order for blinds has finally been completed. To be fair, we ordered 6 blinds, and 5 were fine, after waiting 8 weeks for their delivery and installation. The 6th was faulty, and it took another 4 months for a replacement, which came with the draw cord on the wrong side. 10 weeks later, the 2nd replacement came, but now in a different style to the blind right next to it in the dining room. That replacement took another 8 weeks to arrive and be installed.
We are happy with the final product, but appalled at the hopeless service. There is plenty of competition out there, so if you're looking for a good blind company, avoid the hassle and go with someone other than Kresta.
We have had over 12 mths trying to get what we paid for, three sets of blinds later for our entire house we are left with a inferior product that doesn't fit most of the windows !! From the installation staff that stunk our house out, to the extremely rude staff - stay right away from them!!! The blinds are also all made in Asia !! NOT Australia !!! The worst experience we have ever have !!! They are by far the WORST company ever !!
My experience is the same as others. Ordered in early July, it's now the end of October and no products after being told it would be 4-6 weeks. So many phonecalls, so much incompetence and different excuses given every time. It's always the warehouse's fault, or a staff member who has since been fired. Such a load. I had used them before with no problems and thought others must have just been unlucky so please don't make the same mistake! They told us they were ready for installation weeks ago so we took our old fittings down and now have no fittings while we wait and wait and wait.
