Lancelin North End Caravan Park

We stayed here this weekend with 5 other families. The facilities were basic but clean and well ordered.
The price was great for the long weekend and the proximity to the dunes was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights during the week here - we tend to avoid weekends and public holidays because we love peace and quiet.
Gary and Janice were excellent hosts - they were there to greet us and get us parked without a fuss - our van is 24' long.
The grounds were clean and well watered with plenty of shade. Only a stroll from the beach or look-out, and right next door to the LBH where we enjoyed a lovely evening meal overlooking the cray boats in the bay.

I stayed here for one night (18-5-13 - 19-5-13) with a group of friends. There was six of us in total. We arrived at 5:30pm and asked if we could stay on the camping ground as our other accommodation had fallen through and we had traveled 3 hours to get to Lancelin and we really just needed a place to stay. The owner was very friendly and said she would let us stay at short notice for $25 a couple, and she would even let us light a fire too. The caravan park wasn't too bad, there was a shower and a toilet block which was clean (aside from a few dead spiders and cockroaches) and the camping ground wasn't too close to any caravans, so our group could stay up late at night and play music and we wouldn't disturb anyone. The owner was quite a nice lady to us. We were a little unsure if we should stay there as we had heard so many bad stories about the owners. But I was pleasantly suprised!
