I have beeen waiting 10 months since the house was started and I am yet to move in.
There has been 2 design faults that have affected the house which can no longer be fixed with out rebuliding the house.
They refuse to akowledge these as they have done a qucik fix and said it "complies with all signed documentation".
The driveway was so steep I could not get a standard car on to the driveway without damaging my car or the concrete, same again for going from the driveway into the garage. But they tell me this is still "compliant". Like others, I found Langdon started strong but once you were locked in to contract, they simply did not care about the customer experience. Also, Langdon take product gouging to a new level when it comes to any extras so beware. You will need to triple check your paperwork and allocate hours of your time for follow up as the Contract Administrator that I was given was breathtakingly incompetent. To the point that on my hand over day, she hadn't submitted the relevant paperwork and it was delayed. The flow on impact with removalists and furniture delivery was actually devastating. I did try and escalate this but management were defensive and argumentative. Very disappointing. I would not recommend.
Another update from my Build - I have received an email from the Building Manager who has not explained their absence last weekend but stated the delays on the final handover are due to me comming up with a list of defects on the job. With no explaination as to why they wernt picked up by the site supervisor prior to the final inspection being booked in.

Our build started off really well with a custom design by Josh in Ballarat. My wife and I had a ball bouncing ideas with Josh and changing things around until we finally settled on a design.

I'm from Ballarat my build has been the most stressful time in my life,I have been in tears through my whole build, I had the worst bricklayers they destroyed my home,I have had 100s of bricks removed,and replaced,theres still red bricks to be removed,and chipped ones and langdons have put on new bricklayers they have done a better job,but when my bricks were cleaned the mortar has fallen out they were told it had to be hand washed by there inspector ,my inspector is comming up to check it out they are short of tradesman in Ballarat as well my house looks great inside,but the bricks are a concern,and other problems that need to be fixed
