Terrible terrible terrible!!! This place is unprofessionally run, they will tell you to come back for multiple sessions to achieve a particular colour or style, dont fall for it. There is no handover between consultants, and you are left having wasted alot $$$ and time, worse looking hair then before ever stepping foot into a sad excuse for a salon, whilst they blame each other and then you. Wouldnt go back even if it was free, too stressful and negative and they really aren't anything special. Not to mention, they cut a chunk out of my hair to test colour!!!! Wat??!! Only go here if you dont mind feeling robbed.
Do not go here for a Brazilian wax! I had one done and firstly, the lady couldn't speak very good English, which was a huge issue when I tried to ask her questions and she had no idea what I was talking about. Secondly, she used the wrong wax - she used soft wax, which is not meant to be used in such sensitive areas as it can damage the skin. Thirdly, she was very rough and careless and also missed A LOT of hair. I will not be going back there anytime soon.
I only go to Lattouf when I need a wash & style for an occasion (weddings, engagement parties), and I always walk out with a smile on my face! I recently had my hair washed and styled by Vanessa, and her understanding of what I was after translated into a talented and gorgeous hairstyle. Will continue returning for styles, blowdry's and updo's!
I recommend these hairdressers if you enjoy feeling as though you've been robbed! Your hair will be done by a junior hairdresser who won't do as you ask but you'll pay senior stylist prices. They also try and sell you their products at an inflated price which they've bought online from Thailand and the instructions on the product are in Thai! Probably cost them $5 but they'll charge you $50. You might get a herbal tea though, oh and a magazine if you ask. You'll also get a shower at the basin from the apprentice that hasn't learnt how to wash hair yet!! For $335 I got a bad colour, a rushed blow dry (no cut) and a product I had to google how to use.
Have been going here since I moved to Ryde - about 3 year. It has gone from a very busy salon to almost empty - even on weekends. They have lost a lot of their snr stylists over the last 12 months. Last time I went back I asked for exactly the same colour as last time.My hair ended up with bright pink roots and when questioned the hairdresser thought I would look good with a much brighter red. She did not listen to what I wanted.Even after the recolour (an additional hour) I still walked out with a colour I did not like. Although I was invited to call back and rebook - I don't have time for another 3 hour session. So I am now looking for another salon where I get what I ask for.
