We give parents real value for money!Established over 20 ago, we have been operating a successful, home-based swim school in Matraville, NSW. We attribute part of our success to the fact that our business is run and operated, in our own specifically designed, non-crowded, indoor heated pool. This allows us to maximize our students time in the water and providing greater flexibility to customize coaching programs to meet the specific needs of each of our students!
We pride ourselves on our advanced swim teaching and coaching methods. All our sessions are fun, productive and structured. Our objective is for our students to reach their full potential no matter what age or standard. As our name suggests, we strive for excellence; we are coaches, Accredited by the Australian coaching council. (squad coaches)
Whilst we pride ourselves on our ability to teach and coach swimming at all levels, we do not believe in teaching infants. We are more than glad to show and explain to parents the role they can play in the early stages of development, getting their infants used to a water environment to prepare them for future sessions.
At Leafe Elite Swim School, we offer a number of different programs, designed specifically to meet all skill and ability levels. We encourage every student to enter the pool, unaccompanied, with the use of flotation devices. This allows us to begin teaching our students the necessary skills immediately, ensuring that in-pool time is both productive & maximized.

Gary and Chris are the most professional, dedicated, knowledgeable and caring swimming coaches in the eastern suburbs. After putting our 4 kids into various swimming schools, Leafe Elite Swim School gave the attention to detail, the virtually one to one tuition and the steady learning of strokes to make my kids confident swimmers. My 10yr old boy has consistantly made the school team and my 8 yr old daughter has made her first school team this year. They have both been at Leafe Elite for 5 yrs. My younger two have started this year and are progressing very well. Most importantly , they love coming to the class and this is a credit to Gary and Chris. I Congratulate Chris and Gary on their hard work and hope they continue to coach our kids how to swim for many more years. I highly recommned this Swim School.
EXCELLENT! Gary & Chris really focus on technique and ensure all kids get the attention required. Our two boys have been attending for over a year now and can swim confidently and enjoy the discipline that Gary & Chris provide. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants their children to learn how to actually swim.
Just thought I'd share my experience with this establishment...Mykids were enrolled..we paid the non refundable deposit to secure a time slot..3 families that attended the same time slot were told that there was no longer a lesson at that original agreed time, so the school had initiated a time change..we were stunned 2 weeks later to find other people in our slot that we paid the deposit for, but persevered until it became impossible for us to make the new time due to other commitments..the drama came when we wanted to change schools then the once harmonious relationship became like the divorce case from hell..we were told we had to pay one months fees plus the loss of our non refundable deposit and when we disputed the final invoice we were presented a letter via a debt collecting agency..I had lodged a inquiry with the department of fair trade and informed the school proprietor in good faith to see if there was a breach in contract for on ...read more
Allforfairness. Was it fair in five months you`re fees were rarely paid on time even when you were given our bank details to make it easier for you? Was it fair when you never gave us any advanced knowledge of your departure? Was it fair you were already at another swim school before notifying us? Was it fair you left without settling your account? Mr C 1/About your time slot. The people booked with you in your original time are still there. 2/A contract and a copy of the swim school rules were issued to you and clearly explained, no fine print everything transparent. 3/If you had a problem why did you not tell us at the time? 4/The pay as you go method is probably the safest way for your new swim school to ensure what happened to us won`t happen to them! 5/What does puzzle me however is how highly qualified coaches organise their squad programs, when they never know who will be in the pool at any session at anytime with this payment method.
The bank details were provided after you waited 2 weeks before banking a cheque and the funds weren't available. .you have a sign out the front of the school stating all fees must be paid by the second week of the month or no classes will be offered!guess what we were never over " the second week of the month" only the time when the cheque was cashed 2 weeks later and that was when the bank details were exchanged..there was a refusal on your behalf to mediate with fair trade..several emails were ignored in attempt to get an exact total owing(3 different amounts requested). Time change initiated by the school, null and void any contract and should have refunded deposit!!
My son has just started an hour as per Garys recommendation and in 2 lessons there has already been a remarkable improvement. Along with that he is loving coming to his class. I find Gary to be very personable and his years of experience really makes a difference. I doubt you would get his experience at any other swim school. These kids are in the water the whole time, none of this sitting on the edge while the others take their turn. Im very happy with this school. hool
