It’s been 6 months since move in and none of the defects rectified. Both the agency and landlord are in breach of contract where it says the timeframe is 14 days for non-urgent repairs. There was 1 urgent issue (mould) included in condition report, which was also ignored until I wiped it myself but not sure if it will reoccur as proper inspection by mould specialists is still required. Avoid this real estate agency.
As soon as my lease ended I got out as soon as I could. They made it very clear that everytine I raised a maintenance request that the landlord's needs were more important then my own. Needless to say, most of my requests were never resolved.
Just to top it off, they tried to keep my bond but we're happy to release it if I left them a 5 star Google review (seriously!?). I took them to VCAT and they didn't even bother showing up, so thank goodness I won making me finally free of them.
This review is regarding the East Brunwick branch. Zero communication on the progress of reported issues. We are keep being switched between agents. They do not understand for a single bit what tenants are going thru. We are waiting for issues to be resolved since we moved in and it has been 3 months with zero resolution on any reported item.
We were referred to leasedandsold by one of our clients and after our interview with Tony Brakis we were confident to appoint them as our agents. So far it has proved to be a worthwhile decision as they perform with determination, accuracy and in a totally professional manner. In turn we would therefore be recommending their services to others.
Sincerely,
Rod Shepherd
