The Lindt Chocolat Café is the first of its kind in the world, offering a unique, exciting experience not to be found anywhere else in the world.
As well as relaxing and enjoying a delicious café menu, you can indulge in a sumptuous collection of chocolates, cakes and ice cream created by Lindt’s Master Chocolatiers from the world’s finest Chocolate - Lindt.
If you aren't picky with the cheap outdoor setting that is often left dirty and messy but with the focus on your chocolate fix, then this place is definitely an option. This place is often buzzing with tourists when I frequent, so much so that the staff are reluctant to be friendly. If I weren't partial to the water frontage, I would rather frequent the Lindt Cafe at MLC.
Yes, the hot chocolate is great and the brownie slice is addicting. It is the ultimate chocolate affair with sugar and it is GOOD!
I wouldn't comment on the quality of the food because they are all amazing, which are reflected in the price. The place also has both (limited) indoor and (a lot more of) outdoor seats which are perfect for larger groups, and the casual settings make it really enjoyable to indulge in the chocolates!
This Lindt Cafe has a great location. On Cockle Bay Wharf, it looks over a courtyard area across Darling Harbour. It is nice and open with indoor and outdoor (but mainly undercover) seating. They sell a variety of chocolate delicacies including Lindt Balls in many many flavors! The macaroons are definitely worth a try- I love salted caramel. Very touristy, given location.
I visited after dinner nearby for some chocolatey desserts and hot chocolates. Was a little disappointed they had run out of profiteroles but settled on a hot chocolate instead. Was surprised it was $7 but made sense once i found out it made just over 2 cups which could easily be shared with your partner
