I wonder if the 5 star reviews are fake or if the company has changed.
Tim and his crew were friendly, but they had little to no regard for anything they moved.
I was charged a premium and they didn't even move everything. I had to borrow a car from a friend (because it has a towbar) and go hire a trailer to finish the move myself.
Contrary to the professional looking website, this is a fly-by-night outfit.
Just don't use them.
I have just used this company to move from Wollongong NSW to South Australia.
My furniture was purchased all brand new less than 6 months ago so I didnt want to sell and repurchase everything so I found Local removals to move for us.
Firstly, The guys arrived with a near full truck, therefore was unable to take all our furniture. I called Anna and she said she was sorry and they will have to move the other half the following week. I gave them an inventory list of what needed to be moved and we lived in a 2 bedroom apartment with just the 2 of us, we did not have much to move! I am relocating to another state, I wanted all my things moved together! However I had no other option as I was driving to South Australia the next day.

after being stranded by another company - Local Removals were my knight in shining armour !!! Anna had a truck in my driveway within the hour, the boys Aaron & Nathan were magnificent. What started as the most stressful day ended in complete happiness & extreme gratefulness. Thank you guys, again you are wonderful. Leonie :)
