I'm not sure how long this one has been about, but I suspect it isn't all that long considering my feed suddenly started showing this place a little while ago. Anyway, being a bit fan of rooftop bars I decided that I wanted to check it out, but since it happens to be at the wrong end of the city (which is pretty much either side), it took me a little while to actually get around to it. In all honesty though, it isn't one of the best, namely because it can get pretty crowded, especially on a Friday. It's okay, but not great.
Awesome roof top venue in Melbourne! In the 'Paris' end of the city, so it was nice to go on a tour round the old buildings to find this venue. Once you arrive it feels like an oasis, where you can admire the old Victorian roof tops and chimneys of Melbourne. I love the design, save the blue swimming rail looking balls on wires about. Lanterns would have been more appropriate.
The cocktails are delicious! I had the Gin, rosewater and mint cocktail to start, and the mixologist certainly new how to perfectly balance the flavours and alcohol. The wines are slightly over prices but still good and the food whilst delicious could be a bit more inventive. Also the fried chicken wings needed to be salted more.
All in all a great venue for evening drinks or a Sunday lunch. We will be back.#reviewtowin
