When I hired the van it was with the condition that I could extend the hire period. When I extended I paid the extra hire fee as soon as it was invoiced. Then when thier driver collected the van he Kirbed the nearside rim. They claim it was me even though I have a witness it was them. then they say they are not returning my deposit for late return even though I paid the extended hire period. My lawyer said they are going to fight it untill it costs me more than they owe me. Your choice your money are you willing to risk it.
Good try dmorfoulis. you hire me a touring van over the chistmass period. I was going to tour with it but ended up working at home, so no permition was required to tour within the state. you agreed to the extension and invoiced it making no claim to want to swap the van for another, and which was paid before the extension started with no expectation of further fees. As a driver of large vehicles including Articulated trucks since the 80s I aam obviously move qualified than your driver who damaged the rim if he had wanted help getting out of a parallel park he only had to ask and as a qualified instructor I could have told him how to avoid damage.
