Very professional and thorough (Stacey Robinson was our mechanic)- and they can issue online safety certificates, no waiting at Main Roads Department, which is a bonus. Great value for money considering the time I DID NOT have to take off from work to get this done. Highly recommend.
I have done pre purchase inspection through M1 safety certificate they charge me $260 and they said our mechanic spend 2 hrs checked out the vehicle include 1 hr test drive but the mechanic who came to inspect he spend only 40 minutes and 5 minutes to test drive he cleared everything but when I start my job after a week then I find truck coolant warning sign and buzzer and also noisy chasis and suspension tailgate leakage then I try to call them they said we don't take any warranty
I think they just sitting to ripped off the people's it's easy way to makes money

During the discussion on the phone you had confirmed that the light on the dash was not present until a week after the inspection took place. If there are no idicators that there is an issue we cannot predict what may happen in a weeks time. The Pre-Purchase Inspection is a condition report of the vehicle at the time of inspection. It is not a warranty that nothing is going to mechanically fail on the vehicle in the future. No one can offer that.
During the inspection that you were present at, the examiner invited you to come on the test drive of the vehicle. Our Pre-Purchase Inspections can take up to 2 hours and we certainly cannot test drive a vehicle for an hour. The test drive was sufficient to establish if there are any issues with the vehicle within that time.
From the inspection the examiner did report that there was a leaking lifting ram from the tailgate loader that the seller had agreed to repair for you. We would advise you to contact the seller in relation to that repair.
I needed a safety certificate at very short notice. The lovely receptionist at M1 found me an appointment which fit perfectly with my schedule. I dropped off the car and within 30 minutes it was completed. I've never had such a hassle-free check. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, and I'll definitely be back for my service. Thanks!
