Would not recommend especially to the elderly. My 91 year old grandmother required a repair to her shower in which we engaged Michael to quote on the repair. During the quotation process all went well until the work was scheduled to be completed and he didn’t show up on the scheduled day, and several days following. Obviously with only one shower at the property we needed to engage another company To complete the work and once confirmed we attempted to call Michael several times without any response before sending him a message to officially cancel the job. Today he entered my grandmothers property and yelled at her through her gated front door, she offered to pay him the call out quote fee and he just stormed off etc. My father then called Michael to obviously sort out whatever the issue is as my grandmother has very limited hearing but was left feeling scared in her own home, Michael denied the entire thing and hung up on my father, completelyread more
Terrible attitude and service was engaged to replace hot water unit under warranty and refused to do the job leaving me the homeowner and our tenants without hot water
Abused two of the trades trying to sort their lack of work action in order to sort the situation out

After 33 years in business a person can run across some dead set grubs. I was contracted by Other Plumbing Business to replace a 125l hot water system under warranty only 2 weeks after it was installed, they requested me to go and look at the job. When I arrived the two ladies who rented the house said they had complained several days ago of poor hot water and that morning of no hot water so the owner had his electrician come down from Sunshine Coast to Underwood. The electrician identified that the thermostat was gone but rather than arrange for a replacement the owner, previous plumber, and electrician decided to put it through as a warranty job. My inspection showed faulty wiring to the unit caused it to short out and the installation itself did not meet plumbing standards. I notified the plumbing business it was not a warranty but just a replacement thermostat. Cont…
Cont... Well that's when the abuse started. I had my phone on speaker when to 1st call Came in this was the original plumber and I was talking to the ladies that rented the property at the time. They were swearing and telling me to just put the replacement unit in. The owner ringing saying the same thing just do it. The plumber even called back with threats of turning up on my front door. Well if you guys want to be in on false claims you can, I am not willing to be a part of it. I myself take pride in my work. This job should have been a 30 second thermostat replacement not an a/hours call out for a warranty claim. I am not about to lower my standards because someone else has stuffed up. I have taken photos of the utterly terrible workmanship at this job and have recordings of the phone calls made. If you want to take this further well lets go to the authorities with the evidence.
Mick will be now coming out for a 3rd time, he has been great, we had a blocked drain which he came to the same day, I was very happy. We then got him to come back and do some roof repairs and guttering which was great and we are now getting him to service some taps. I have found Mick's 'prices very affordable and he has a good sense of humour and a ready smile, it's great to see there are still tradesmen out there that take pride in there work
