I had my Mazda 2 washed and vacuumed with the 'inside and out' service today for $40 as I am preparing to sell it. The staff did a good job of washing the car. The inside carpets were spotless after vacuuming. Unfortunately, someone broke the cover for the AUX connection off its hinge and left the broken bits in my cup holder. I didn't notice until after I left. It would have been more courteous to advise me of the issue before leaving. It is my opinion that this could have been avoided with a bit more care as I've never come close to breaking this bit in the 5 years I've had this car. I don't think I will return again for another service at this stage.
I had a paint correction done on my car a few months ago, and normally wash it myself so the paint was perfect with no swirl marks. My girlfriend gave me a Magic carwash voucher for christmas so thought I'd use it. BIG MISTAKE, parts of my car look like they have washed it with steel wool, swirl marks all over the bonnet especially, I couldn't beleive they could do so much damage to the paint in one wash.
I wish I had read these reviews before going. Rang ahead to check the price before driving half and hour out of my way and was told it would be $50 to have inside and out. When I got there was directed to park straight away and then blocked in so I had no choice. Price for inside and outside was actually $65 (starting point . . .there was no $50 price at all on the board) and because the car was fairly new and had returned from NT I decided to go the extra and paid $85. Upon leaving I was ushered through as it was busy and was shown the driver door which was nice and clean. Though driving home I noticed flecks of stone on the passenger floor and specks on the leather seat. It was only when I got home that I looked the car over and saw the rear carpets still had obvious sand and grit. Leather seats still had bits on it and red dust was still obvious both inside and out. Biggest waste of money ever.
