We ventured to the east side of town and finally got to Maiz and Mezcal. The service was excellent. The menu was explained well. We ordered the raw tuna tostadas from the new Revolution menu (newly launched). Delicious. We could have ordered an extra serve if we didn't have so much food coming. The sliders were excellent. Love that they were served as pork two ways with great chips and chipotle mayo. The pork belly from the Revolution menu was tender and the mango ceviche was a brilliant addition. The beef sandal was also really tasty and all of the sides that came with it were great. The homemade hot sauce and refried beans are amazing. Make sure you try a margarita!
Have finally had the chance to try out Maiz and Mezcal and was not let down! The staff was really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great! Love the decor and they were very accommodating when we needed to split a bill for our large group. The guacamole was amazing, the best I've had outside of Mexico!
