From an excellent modern Italian menu we chose, A Maldini Taste plate - Chargrilled farm quail, crispy skinned pork belly, char grilled octopus. Beautifully prepared and presented, totally delicious, also a genuine Spaghetti alla marinara, mussels, clams, prawns, fish & calamari, in a garlic and white wine sauce. Thisread more
Before booking at Maldini my girlfriend and I looked at their menu on the website to see if it would be suitable for us (vegetarian and vegan). This menu had several vegetarian options and upon making a reservation we were assured a vegan meal could be prepared. Upon arriving at Maldini we were met by a staff who spoke to us in a condescending manner about our BYO wine "No! No! You cannot have that here, not a single drop!" (this was in no way conveyed in a joking or light hearted manner).read more
Perfect Italian food. Went there for Sunday dinner. Oysters were fresh, duck liver pate was made in the restaurant, beautifully presented and delicious. Mains they excelled. Simple food but cooked perfectly. Spaghetti marinara was fresh, simple. Heaps of blue eye, soft calamari (not rubbery), big juicy prawns and heaps of mussels. Pasta was perfect al dente. Also had spaghetti with chilli and olive oil. Simple dish but tasted magnificent. Can't recommend highly enough!!
