I've been taking my pets here for years, but over time I've come to dislike this practice immensely. The only reason I still come here is because they are close, but I'm looking for a new vet for my 2 dogs now. Basically, their priority now seems to be profit at the expense of animal health. They ignore current research and recommendations and continue to push unnecessary treatments which carry risks. They cherry pick the data when justifying what they recommend, only mentioning benefits of treatments without mentioning negative findings. They are biased in favour of profit rather than animal health. They are still pushing for early sterilization in spite of the fact that many vets now recommend waiting, due to the benefits of waiting. They still push yearly vaccination boosters, even though new studies show its unneccesary and carries risks and can cause long term harm. You often have to wait a long time, even if you have an appointment and their puppyread more
Today our little dog Lucy had a hernia removed and was spayed!! it was a huge day for her and a worrying one for us but Dr.Sue did such a great job!! Thank you the care that Sue and all the other nurses gave was great a very professional and caring hospital which I very highly recommend.
Our first time at Malibu Vets today. Dr Sue made my dog feel very welcome and she gave him a thorough check over. I was very happy to see that she was gentle and our spaniel likes her as he is very fussy about certain people. We found that she explained our dogs medical condition thoroughly and was very caring about him as he is old. We were happy to know that she is excellent at her medical examination and has left us with all the honest facts on our dogs future health prognosis. The receptionist was very helpful and they all have lovely smiles. Therefore I will be bringing all our pets to Malibu Vets. If you would like a gentle caring vet, then i would advise you to consider Malibu Vets.
Will try to keep this short as I could go on forever about how great I think these guys are. They are kind, caring and professional. My 10 month old puppy has been a regular visitor due to quite a few misfortunes and both her and I feel so blessed we chose Malibu Clinic to look after her.
Our animals have been cared for by Dr Peter Adamson and the Malibu Veterinary Hospital team for more than 10 years since we shifted to Perth. The journey down to Safety Bay from Perth has always been worth the time and effort. Dr Peter and his excellent staff treat us and our beloved four-legged family members with the utmost professional, friendly care, concern and expertise. When we travel around Australia, and are worried about our dogs' health, we have always rung Dr Peter and received helpful advice. For example, our dog had a severe allergic reaction and became very ill once when we were visiting Cairns. We took our Bella to a local Cairns vet and also rang Dr Peter. He consulted with both us and the Cairns vet practice over the next few weeks and, from across the other side of the country, with his knowledge of our dog's medical history and temperament, he was able to ensure a speedier recovery of our precious ridgeback.
