A large bakery on the main street of Mansfield and adequately staffed, but was rather disappointing. Their prices were quite good, but on a Sunday, in the middle of school holidays and just before 12 noon, there were no savoury rolls (for example, cheese rolls, cheese & bacon rolls, pizza rolls, or similar) available at all. This seemed crazy to me and there weren't even many customers in there, either waiting to be served or seated. The pre-made salad/meat rolls and sandwiches weren't very appealing and their sweets seemed more catered to the kids - frog and pig cupcakes and lots of garish looking biscuits. We went away with just an average tasting pie and sausage roll.
I only have contact by buying the Country Life Bakery bread at Coles in NSW. Just to say very pleased with the new Multigrain bread, it makes it possible to eat a sandwich without toasting. I have not had (enjoyed) an untoasted sandwich since 2005! Thanks for that.
